Replacing Front Brake Pads

Model: Citroen C8 MK 1 - Years 2002-2014

Lift the vehicle on a hydraulic lift and remove the front wheel. Unscrew the retaining bolts of the brake caliper from its support. Before removing the caliper, use a screwdriver to lever between the pads and the disc to retract the piston. Then remove the caliper and the old pads. Next, dismantle the caliper support and the disc. Clean the disc seat on the hub with a wire brush and apply grease to the disc to eliminate any protective oil residues. Proceed to install the new disc, securing it with the appropriate pin. Then, in reverse order, install the caliper support, the new pads, and the caliper itself.
