Instructions for Removing Engine Mount

Model: Citroen C8 MK 1 - Years 2002-2014

During this operation, it is advisable to place a jack under the engine to support it while removing the mount. The engine mount is located at the rear left of the engine bay (when viewed from the front), just below the coolant reservoir: therefore, you must first move the reservoir. Proceed by unscrewing the bolts securing the mount plate to the engine (Torx key size 50) and then those securing it to the vehicle chassis (16mm socket). Finally, remove the fastening bolt of the damper to the strut top. To remove the mount, it is also necessary to unscrew the bolt that secures the damper to the mount plate.
