Removing the Timing Belt

Replacing the timing belt is a task that requires good mechanical knowledge, as a mistake could severely compromise engine function; start by removing the coolant reservoir and engine mount (apply support under the engine) to create access space to the timing belt; then remove the plastic covers, also removing the left front wheel and the splash guard; loosen the auxiliary belt and remove the pulley connected to the crankshaft; before removing the toothed belt, rotate the pulleys to align the timing marks, and then proceed with the removal.
