How to Reset the Service Light on a Citroën Xsara Picasso?

To reset the Service light on a Citroën Xsara Picasso, press and hold the 000.0 button located next to the display in the centre of the dashboard: the button must be held down while the instrument cluster is off. While holding the button, insert the ignition key into the ignition switch and turn it to switch on the instrument cluster: this will trigger a countdown starting from 3, after which the Service light will turn off. To check that the reset has been successful, turn off and back on the cluster.
