How to Perform the Service Reset on a Citroën Xsara Picasso

On the Citroën Xsara Picasso, resetting the service light is done directly from the instrument cluster without diagnostic tools. In the video, the car is shown with the ignition off, and you start by locating the trip button on the dashboard. While holding the button, turn the key to the ignition position without starting the engine. At this point, a countdown appears on the display indicating that the maintenance indicator is being reset. It is important to keep holding the button until the countdown is complete, without releasing it beforehand. Once the procedure is completed, the display on the Citroën Xsara Picasso shows confirmation of the reset (maintenance mileage restored). At this point, you can release the button, turn off the ignition, and turn it back on to verify that the service light is no longer present.
