How to Reset the BSI Unit on a Citroën Xsara Picasso

To reset the BSI unit on a Citroën Xsara Picasso, connect a diagnostic tool to the vehicle's OBD port: this port is located on the lower left side of the dashboard, behind the designated glove compartment. The glove compartment must be removed, then connect the scanner and select the car model and corresponding version: this will allow you to reset all stored errors in the unit. At this point, you can scroll through the onboard computer menu to verify that all values have been restored.
