How to Replace the Radiator

Model: Citroen C5 DC, MK 1 - Years 2000-2008

First, place a container under the radiator. Using pliers, remove the two clips that secure the two lower water pipes leading to the radiator. Remove the pipe and let the water drain into the container. To speed up the process, you can open the cap of the water reservoir. Remove the clip that secures the upper coolant pipe connected to the radiator. At this point, unscrew the two bolts that secure the radiator in place. Pull the radiator out of its housing. Take the new radiator and insert it into position. To reassemble, repeat the previous steps in reverse order. Fill the coolant reservoir. Open the heater matrix and check that no air is trapped in the radiator. The maintenance operation shown in the images is performed on a Citroen C5.
