Citroen C5 - Video tutorial

Model: Citroen C5 DC, MK 1 - Years 2000-2008
Part: Radiator
Operation: How to replace the radiator for cooling.

First of all put a basin under the radiator. With pliers, remove the two springs that block the two lower pipes of the water that is brought to the radiator. Remove the tube and let the water flow into the basin. To do it faster we can open the cap of the water tank. Remove the spring that blocks the upper coolant hose connected to the radiator. At this point, unscrew the two bolts that lock the radiator in its position. Remove the radiator from its housing. Take the new radiator and insert it in its place. To reassemble, repeat the above operations following the opposite procedure. Fill the coolant reservoir. Open the heater matrix and check that there is no air left inside the radiator. The maintenance operation that is performed in the images is carried out on a Citroen C5.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base.
