How to Replace the Gear Lever Gaiter on a Citroen C4

Model: Citroen C4 MK 1 - Years 2004-2010

Remove the glove compartment located under the climate control by lifting it with a plastic lever. This will free up space behind the base of the gear lever. Through this space, you will be able to lift the base of the gear lever and remove the leather gaiter by simply detaching it from the ring at the base. To remove the leather, push out the teeth that secure the gaiter from the holes on the gaiter itself. To detach it from the top, simply cut the tie that holds it. Now you can insert the new gaiter and retrace the steps for reassembly.
