To replace the gear knob on a Citroën C4, you need to unclip the clips that secure the leather gaiter around the lever, allowing you to lift it completely. You will need to remove the ring that secures the gaiter to the knob so that it can be pulled off. Once the old knob is removed, you can install the new one and secure it to the gaiter by inserting the ring from the inside. The bottom of the gaiter should then be clipped back into its housing using the appropriate clips. After replacement, check the correct operation of the piece.
