Replacing the Gear Knob on a Citroen C4

As shown in the video, detach the gaiter by simply pulling it with your hands while gripping the lower frame. Lift the gaiter as high as you can, up to the stop. At this point, break the clip with a suitable pliers, then lower the gaiter. Cut the central stop of the lever and the knob with a large utility knife. Finally, you can remove the knob. Insert the new knob so that it fits well with the lever, and apply pressure from the top. Lift the gaiter as high as you can and secure it internally with a new clip. Fit the gaiter and its frame back into place.
