It is quite common for the gear lever gaiter to deteriorate due to constant friction from gear changes, as well as the effects of heat and car wash detergents, sometimes even leading to tears; it is therefore advisable to replace it with one made of genuine leather.

This operation is very simple but obviously requires the removal of the gear lever knob.

Once you have detached the gaiter from the base of the lever, that is, from the relevant fixing frame and from the base of the knob, simply grasp the knob and pull it upwards to remove it from the lever.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins.
