The replacement of the headlight bulb of the Citroen C3 (H7 socket) is quite simple to carry out since there is enough room for maneuver in the engine compartment, behind the headlight; therefore, once the front hood has been opened, access the headlight housing, release the spring that holds the protective cap of the lamp holder in place, extract the bulb power socket and then release the bulb retaining spring; therefore extract the old bulb and insert the new one, taking care not to touch the bulb with your fingers; then re-attach the fixing spring, the power socket and finally the cap.

There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother.
