Today, learn how to remove the steering wheel airbag from a Citroen C3, first generation model produced from 2002 to 2009. The steering wheel airbag is held in place by two metal tabs that secure it to the rest of the steering wheel. As shown in the tutorial, to remove the airbag, insert a small flat screwdriver into the designated slots (one on the right and one on the left) at the base of the steering wheel to lever the tabs and release the airbag.

Once done, disconnect the various wiring and finally remove the steering wheel airbag completely.
