To remove the driver's airbag unit from the steering column of the Citroen C3, you will need a flathead screwdriver. Position yourself in front of the steering wheel, insert the screwdriver with the blade vertical into the hole under the lower spoke of the steering wheel, and release the pin from the spring that holds it in place.

Repeat the same operation with the other two holes located at the top behind the other spokes, ensuring the pins remain disengaged. You can then separate the airbag unit from the column, disconnect the two electrical connectors to remove it completely.
