How to remove the steering wheel airbag on the 2014 Citroen C3

The removal of the driver's airbag located inside the steering wheel is the same on all Citroen C3 vehicles. Even on 2014 models, to remove it we must insert a screwdriver inside the steering wheel that can push the internal lever in order to release it. Once the steering wheel is open, we can disconnect the connector related to the airbag and remove the central body inside. After removing the airbag, it is also possible to unscrew the steering wheel to extract it from its housing in case you need to replace it. The assembly follows an even simpler procedure, as you just need to connect the connector and press to close the body inside. It is advisable to disconnect the battery during the removal process.
