Removing the driver’s airbag located inside the steering wheel is the same across all Citroen C3 vehicles. For the 2014 models, to remove it, insert a screwdriver into the steering wheel to push the internal lever to release it. Once the steering wheel is open, disconnect the airbag connector and remove the central body.

After removing the airbag, you can also unscrew the steering wheel to take it out of its housing if you need to replace it. Reassembly is even simpler; just connect the connector and press to close the body inside. It is advisable to disconnect the battery during removal.
