Start by disconnecting the battery to prevent the system from activating during removal; then insert a long flat-head screwdriver into the holes on the steering wheel to push the mechanism lever and remove the central body, ensuring you disconnect the airbag connector first.

With the airbag removed, you can also take off the steering wheel by unscrewing the central bolt. Refit the steering wheel airbag by following the same steps in reverse.
