How to remove the steering wheel airbag of the Citroen C3

The removal of the airbag on the 2014 Citroen C3 car follows a few quick and easy steps to be done independently. We start by disconnecting the battery to prevent the system from activating during removal; then we insert a long flat-tipped screwdriver into the holes on the steering wheel in order to push the lever of the mechanism and remove the central body only after disconnecting the airbag connector. With the removal of the airbag, it is also possible to remove the steering wheel by unscrewing the central screw. The assembly of the steering wheel airbag follows the same steps but in reverse.
