Replacing the battery of the remote for the Cupra Formentor is very simple. This operation is performed in a few steps and will take only a few minutes of your time. The first step is to remove the emergency key by pulling up the top part of the key while pressing the side button. Once the metal key is removed, insert it into the slot and lever it upwards to open the remote. The second step is to remove the battery using a small flathead screwdriver and insert a new battery. Close the remote and reposition the metal key.
