How to change the battery on a Dacia Sandero II

In this video, we see how to change the battery of a Dacia Sandero II: we open the front hood and find the battery on the right side of the engine compartment, at the bottom. We remove the battery by unscrewing the plate fixed with a 13mm bolt; we first remove the negative contact and place it far away from the battery to prevent accidental reconnection; then we lift the plastic cover of the positive connector and remove it: if the battery is equipped with it, we remove the acid vapor tube, after which we can take it by the handle and remove it. We clean the connectors from deposits with fine sandpaper; we install the new battery, covering the poles with copper grease to protect them from oxidation. We reconnect the positive pole, then the negative one, and screw the fixing plate back on. Job done.
