Dacia Duster - Video tutorial

Model: Dacia Duster HS, MK 1 - Years 2010-2017
Part: Timing belt
Operation: How to remove the belt on Dacia Duster 1.5 Dci

We lift the car on a column bridge and remove the engine guard placed under the car, then unscrew the screws of the right wheel rocker with a screwdriver (if we have little space inside the engine compartment). With a fixed wrench we go to loosen the belt tensioner roller and remove the belt from its seat. With a socket wrench we go to unscrew the tightening pin of the belt tensioner roller, remove the water pump as in the video. We assemble the new water pump, the belt tensioner and the belt itself, we tighten everything with the socket wrench. We top up the new coolant at the end of the maintenance.

Fiat Ducato 2.8 JTD gearbox oil replacement

Let's see in this guide the main steps to be able to change the transmission oil of the second series Fiat Ducato, with 2.8 JTD engine. First of all we lift the car and go to locate the gear oil vent bolt, which we find near the transmission; we use a hex wrench to unscrew it, letting it drain the old oil in a container for about ten minutes. At this point we open the bonnet and remove the air intake sleeve, so as to be able to access the gearbox oil filling hole; then we fill up to the maximum level!
