Dacia Sandero - Video tutorial

Model: Dacia Sandero B8 - Years 2012-2020
Part: Checks and maintenance
Operation: How to change engine oil and filter on Dacia Sandero.

In this video tutorial we can see how to replace the engine oil and the oil filter on Dacia Sandero. Purchase engine oil (SAE 5w-40) and an oil filter. Get into the car, turn off the car and put on the handbrake; open the bonnet and secure with a suitable rod. Open the oil filler cap to let the oil out more quickly when the time comes. Before emptying the oil filter it would be advisable to add a detergent to the engine to degrease the engine and eliminate the residues that have formed and thus reduce fuel consumption and polluting emissions. Then leave the engine running for about 5 minutes and then add the product and leave the engine running for another 15 minutes, without driving the vehicle. Lift the car using a hydraulic jack and place the jack stands; put a container for collecting oil under the vehicle and unscrew the oil drain plug; wait until all the oil has flowed into the container. Unscrew the oil filter and replace it with the new one. Replace the drain plug screwing it in just enough, lower the car and top up with the new engine oil.

How do you adjust the clutch cable on the Kia Picanto?

To be able to adjust the clutch cable of the Kia Picanto you need to open the hood so that you have access to the components inside the engine compartment: in order to reach the cable you will need to remove some components on the right side, such as the battery and the air filter. Below them you will find the clutch cable, which will have to be adjusted by screwing or loosening the bolt placed at the end of the cable. This will make the pedal harder or softer; after the adjustment, it will be possible to assemble all the components by closing the hood.
