How to replace the timing belt on the Dacia Sandero

The first thing to do when you want to replace the timing belt on the Dacia Sandero is to open the bonnet, secure the wheels, and lift the car. After lifting the car, you can proceed to remove the front wheels and finally unscrew and remove the fastening elements of the wheel arch. Using a 13mm spanner, pull the pulley and then remove the timing belt. Now let's start the assembly. Install the new belt, using the 13mm spanner to slowly pull the pulley and place the pulley on the tensioner belt. Rotate the crankshaft several times to check the operation of the belt; for this operation, use an 18mm spanner. Install the wheel arches and tighten their elements, insert the wheel, and screw in the bolts. Finally, lower the car and close the bonnet.
