First, lift the vehicle and locate the oil drain plug, which you will unscrew after placing a container underneath it. Next, unscrew the oil filter and replace it using the appropriate wrench.

Once all the oil has drained out, re-screw the plug and then return to the engine to fill the system with the new lubricant.
