Let's look at the procedure necessary for replacing the engine oil and oil filter while performing the routine maintenance service on the Datsun Go. First, lift the vehicle and drain the engine oil by unscrewing the bolt found on the oil pan; let the oil drain into a container for about ten minutes.

Next, use the appropriate wrench to unscrew and remove the oil filter; replace the cartridge with a new one, hand-tightening it before securing it with the wrench, and finally pour in the new engine oil (of the correct type)!
