Open the hood and lift the vehicle, then locate the drain plug under the oil pan. Unscrew the plug after placing a container on the floor to catch the oil. Next, locate the oil filter and proceed to unscrew it with the appropriate wrench. Take the new filter and screw it back on after replacing the gasket. From the top of the engine compartment, proceed to fill the system with the new lubricant.
