Resetting the oil light on a Dodge Ram produced from 2008 to 2012 is very simple. Enter the vehicle and turn on the ignition. Next, press the brake pedal while pressing the accelerator pedal three times. When the lights start to flash, gently release the pedals and then turn off the ignition. You can repeat the operation if necessary. Remember to perform this type of reset only if you have actually changed the oil; otherwise, you may damage the engine.
