Replacing the headlining fabric on a Fiat 500X is a somewhat complex task to carry out independently, especially if you are not familiar with upholstery, but it is certainly not impossible to do on your own. To start the fabric replacement, first, completely remove the roof lining of the vehicle.

To do this, you need to detach the handles on the roof, as well as the sun visors, remove the light fittings, and finally all the screw covers.

After removing the roof lining, place it on a work surface and proceed to remove the fabric using solvent and a metal spatula. Remove all residues of the previous adhesive, and when the entire frame is clean, apply fabric glue and then attach the new fabric.

Conclude by reassembling the roof and interior of the vehicle along with all its accessories.
