Replacement of the Fiat 500 L remote control battery

When, by pressing the buttons on the Fiat 500 remote control, the car doors do not open or close, the cause may be a dead battery. To replace it, we push the metal tab, and in its groove we find a plastic screw; using a small screwdriver, we turn it to the open lock symbol and, leveraging with the screwdriver, we remove the battery housing. We remove the old battery and insert a new CR2032, aligning the plus sign of the battery with the one on the housing. We insert the assembly into the slot and lock it by turning the plastic screw to the closed lock symbol.
