Removing the electronic lock from the Fiat Punto is a straightforward task you can do yourself. Before you start, remove the left front door panel.

Open the door and use a plastic tool to detach the switch panel from the door. After disconnecting the switch connector, unscrew the screw located underneath it; then unscrew the screw behind the opening handle and also the lower and side screws.

Remove the panel and proceed to remove the lock by unscrewing the side screws. Disconnect the lever system and remove the lock.
