Video tutorial

In this video we see how to change the engine oil and filter on a Fiat Ducato X244: we start by going under the vehicle and removing the cap from the oil pan (beforehand we will have opened the refueling cap, to ensure a complete and rapid outflow of the liquid) with a 12mm hex key. We will drain the liquid into a suitable container, and dispose of the used oil at an authorized center.

We take this opportunity to also change the cap of the oil pan and the gasket.

We also change the filter, positioning a container for the outflow of oil underneath: in fact, this component will also lose some oil. When replacing the filter, remember to change the gasket with some new oil. Refill the oil (the quantity depends on the engine displacement; in any case, it is advisable to use a synthetic oil 5W30).
