How do you remove the steering wheel from a Fiat Palio with an airbag? Follow these steps: Before removing the steering wheel, disconnect the battery terminals. Use a screwdriver to unscrew the screws located at the back of the steering wheel cover (if present), then remove the airbag from the steering wheel.

Once the airbag is removed, disconnect the power cables, remove the central steering wheel anchoring pin, and disconnect the power terminals. Finally, pull the steering wheel out of its housing by hand.

To reassemble, follow the steps in reverse.
