How to Remove and Replace the Timing Belt on a Fiat Panda

Model: Fiat Panda 169, MK 2 - Years 2003-2012

Lift the bonnet, remove the engine soundproofing panel (if available) and the metal cover of the belt. Use a spanner to loosen the tensioner pulley and slide the belt off its seat. After fitting the new belt (using a spanner), tension the tensioner pulley until the correct tension is achieved. Finally, check the tensioner and the belt itself, and tighten everything with a socket or spanner. Test the correct operation.
