To replace the timing belt on a Fiat Panda, lift the vehicle and remove the front passenger side wheel to access the lateral engine compartment. Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery and remove any components that obstruct access, such as the engine cover, air filter, or accessory pulleys.

Align the reference marks on the flywheel and camshaft to lock the correct timing. Release the old belt and replace it with the new one, ensuring that the tension is maintained as indicated by the tensioner or automatic tensioning bracket.

Manually rotate the engine two complete turns to check the alignment of the marks. Reassemble all components and the wheel, reconnect the battery, and start the engine to verify correct operation without unusual noises.
