How to charge the car battery with cables

In this video, we will see how to start a car with a flat battery using jumper cables. In the video, we see a Fiat 500, but the method is almost the same for all cars. Of course, you will need another car with a fully charged battery on hand. We will need to park the two cars with their hoods close together and turned off: open the hoods of both cars and locate the batteries; not all cars have the battery in the engine compartment, but manufacturers have included accessible alternative terminals for this purpose. Take the red cable and connect it to the positive terminal of the battery, then connect the other end of the red cable to the positive terminal of the flat battery. Continue by connecting the black cable clamp to the negative terminal of the charged battery and then to the flat battery. Start the engine of the car with the charged battery, keeping the engine at 2000/2500 rpm, then start the engine of the car with the flat battery. Once it starts, leave it running and disconnect the cables, following the exact reverse order: then drive the car for at least 15 minutes so that the battery can recharge.
