Replacing the CV Boot on the Gearbox Side

Model: Fiat Punto MK 3, Punto EVO, 199, Grandepunto - Years 2005-2018

The "easy boot" system allows you to replace the CV boot without having to dismantle it. The boot is open along one side and wraps around the driveshaft. At this point, apply the supplied glue along the channel on the edge and join the two flaps to close the boot: wait 5 minutes for the glue to dry and set (once glued, it is practically impossible to reopen it). Then detach the retaining clips of the old boot, cut it (with scissors or a utility knife) and remove it. Fill the new boot with specific grease for CV joints and insert it into its seat; finally, apply and tighten the supplied clips.
