In this video, we see how to set the rear calipers of a Fiat 500 in service mode using the car's Uconnect system. We turn on the ignition and access the Uconnect system: go to the "settings" menu, scroll to the "brakes" option and select it. Select "brake service" and confirm the request to "retract the parking brakes to allow maintenance". Confirm with "yes". At this point, the system will activate the service mode; the brake light will start flashing, the rear calipers will retract electronically (we will hear a click).

We can now perform maintenance. At the end of the maintenance, simply press the brake pedal and reactivate the electronic handbrake: we will hear the calipers automatically repositioning.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat. Be careful of any electrical cables or components that may be connected to the seat during removal. Once the rear seat is removed, the disassembly is complete.
