How to install a 2 DIN car radio on a Fiat Ducato

Installing a 2 DIN car radio on a Fiat Ducato is a job that requires some skill, but it can be done calmly and patiently. First thing, disconnect the battery for safety. Then remove the dashboard trim (usually it is snap-in, use plastic levers delicately). Unscrew the old radio if present and disconnect the cables. Now connect the ISO connectors or use an adapter if necessary, including the one for the antenna. Insert the metal cage of the new radio into the compartment and secure it. Connect all the cables to the new unit, then insert it gently until it clicks. Reassemble the trim, reconnect the battery and turn it on to verify that everything works. Voilà, your new 2 DIN is ready to play.
