How to find the fuse box of the Fiat 500

To locate the fuse boxes on the Fiat 500, work on the vehicle when it is stationary and safe, with the ignition off. The first box is located in the cabin, on the driver's side, in the area under the dashboard near the pedals: access is achieved by removing or moving the lower cover/panel to reach the fuse box positioned laterally. Once you reach the panel, you can identify the fuses and relays by observing the layout and consulting the diagram on the cover or in the car manual before removing any elements. The second box is in the engine compartment. Open the hood and locate the box with a plastic cover at the top of the compartment: lift the cover to access the fuses and relays, which in this area may also include larger power elements. Before working on main fuses or connections near the battery, it is advisable to avoid short circuits by working carefully and, if necessary, disconnecting the battery following the correct procedures. After any check or replacement, always close the covers ensuring they are securely fastened to protect the components from dust and moisture.
