Removing the Door Panel of a Fiat 500

Want to remove the door panel of a Fiat 500? This guide explains how to proceed. Before starting the disassembly, disconnect the battery terminals located in the engine bay. Use a screwdriver to unscrew the mounting screws on the fixed handle on the door panel, and unscrew the screws located in the plastic of the door opening lever. Remove the handle from the door panel, then use a lever to detach the trim panel. Detach the adhesive panel of the door with the lever, disconnect the door opening cable, then unscrew the mounting bolts of the external handle. Reassemble everything in reverse order.
