In addition to using professional electronic equipment connected via cable to the vehicle's OBD port, there is a simple DIY method to reset the light in question: switch on the ignition, press the accelerator pedal, and simultaneously press the brake pedal seven times in quick succession. After this, keep both pedals pressed for sixty seconds, then release them and turn off the ignition. This solution will have cleared the warning, and to confirm, switch on the ignition again and visually check if the light is still active.
