How to Unscrew the Engine Oil Sump Plug on a Fiat Panda

If you need to carry out maintenance by replacing the engine oil, you will need a 12 mm Allen key. The oil drain plug is located at the rear of the sump and usually, due to repeated thermal cycles, tends to seize in place. It is advisable to use a lever to support the key during removal. At the end of the oil draining process, it is recommended to replace the plug or at least the sealing washer with one made of copper or aluminium, ensuring proper torque during tightening.
