How to Remove the Track Rod End on Fiat Punto

Is the track rod end damaged? Here's how to remove it on a Fiat Punto. Lift the car on a column lift, securing it at a comfortable height to work. Undo the wheel nuts with a socket spanner and (using an air impact wrench) remove the wheel. Start unscrewing the track rod end pins with a socket spanner. Undo the pins located under the track rod end and at the stabiliser bar, then pull the track rod end away from the vehicle body. Fit the new track rod end, then screw it in with all the associated pins. Refit the wheel and its securing nuts.
