Does the key remote control no longer work? Let's see how to change the battery on a Fiat Punto key. We take our ignition key and snap the metal key. Let's go with the help of a screwdriver to unscrew the screw placed in the plastic of the remote control. We separate the plastic parts of the remote control key and extract the flat battery with a screwdriver. We mount the new battery of the same size and voltage. We reassemble the two parts of the key remote control covers and tighten the screw. We check the exact functioning of the key remote control by testing the opening and closing buttons of the Punto doors.

Lift the vehicle on suitable axle stands, remove the front wheels, and then the front bumper and grille. Proceed to remove the front headlights; drain the coolant, remove the intercooler radiator and the hoses connecting it to the intake system.
