Is the key remote not working anymore? Here’s how to change the battery on a Fiat Punto key. Take your ignition key and release the metal keyring. Use a screwdriver to unscrew the screw located in the remote plastics. Separate the plastics of the remote key and extract the flat battery with a screwdriver. Fit the new battery of the same size and voltage. Reassemble the two parts of the remote key cover and screw in the screw. Check the proper functioning of the remote key by testing the lock and unlock buttons on the Punto.
