Removing the Oil Sump on a Fiat Punto

There can be multiple reasons for removing the oil sump on this vehicle. The procedure is straightforward and not complex but requires some experience and, above all, good patience. Start by draining the engine oil from the lower drain plug, then remove the heat shield from the exhaust manifold to access the first segment. After that, proceed to remove the pins that connect the bracket to the gearbox resting on the driveshaft joint. Once done, you will have access to the screws of the sump that can be unscrewed, allowing you to remove it.
