Operation: How to replace the cabin air filter on Fiat 500

Replacing the cabin filter on Fiat 500 is a fairly simple operation and although in some models the components may vary, the operations to be performed will be more or less the same. First of all, the plastic panel located between the passenger side carpet and the central tunnel must be removed. Once the screw has been unscrewed, the panel should come off easily and you can then proceed by disassembling the soundproofing panel under the glove compartment, this will be fixed with three plastic nuts that you just need to unscrew to remove it. After removing the soundproofing panel, you will have access to the compartment that houses the cabin filter, this will be positioned behind the central dashboard and will be recognizable thanks to the presence of a rectangular cover fixed with two visible screws. Unscrewing the two screws, the cover should come off easily thus giving access to the cabin filter which can be extracted and replaced with a new one and you can then continue reassembling everything in the reverse order to that of disassembly.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base.
