How to Replace the Cabin Air Filter on a Fiat 500

Replacing the cabin air filter on a Fiat 500 is a straightforward task. Although components may vary in some models, the steps to follow will be largely the same. First, remove the plastic panel located between the passenger footwell and the centre tunnel. This panel is identifiable by the presence of two air vents and can be detached by unscrewing the visible screw between the two vents. Once the screw is removed, the panel should come away easily. Next, proceed to remove the soundproofing panel located under the glove compartment, which is secured with three plastic nuts that can be unscrewed for removal. After taking off the soundproofing panel, you will gain access to the compartment housing the cabin air filter, which is located behind the centre console and identifiable by a rectangular cover secured with two visible screws. Unscrew the two screws, and the cover should come away easily, allowing access to the cabin air filter, which can then be extracted and replaced with a new one. Finally, reassemble everything in the reverse order of disassembly.
