How to Change the Fuel Pump on Fiat 500

Replace the fuel pump on a Fiat 500. Here’s how to dismantle it. Lift the rear bonnet of the car, locate the fuel pump as shown in the video. Use a socket spanner to undo the securing bolts on the sides. Once the bolts above the container plate are removed, take the fuel pump out of the engine bay (disconnect the circulation hoses). Remove the fuel pump and fit the new pump in the engine bay (connect the hoses and wires). Tighten the securing bolts of the fuel pump. Close the front bonnet once you have replaced the filter. Start and test the Fiat 500.
