Removing the Instrument Cluster from the Dashboard

Model: Fiat Punto MK 3, Punto EVO, 199, Grandepunto - Years 2005-2018

Removing the instrument cluster from the dashboard is a seemingly simple task but must be done with great care to avoid damage. Using a screwdriver, unscrew the screws located under the plastic cover on the back of the steering column. Preferably, use a plastic tool to avoid marking the bodywork and lever in the appropriate notches to disengage the retaining springs of the visor above the instrument cluster. With force but also great caution, pull the entire instrument cluster block outward while being mindful of the connected cables. Disconnect both rear connections to free the instruments, then remove the instruments. To reassemble, follow the same steps in reverse.
