How to Remove the Dashboard of the Fiat Grande Punto EVO

Model: Fiat Punto MK 3, Punto EVO, 199, Grandepunto - Years 2005-2018

This guide shows how to remove the dashboard of the Fiat Grande Punto EVO. The first step is to remove the driver’s side airbag and the steering wheel. After removing these two parts, you need to take off the cover of the indicator stalk; at this point, you can remove the instrument cluster frame and the cluster itself. There are two fixing screws to remove. Remove the radio and the support frame; the block of the switch panel and the air vents. At this point, you can unscrew the first fixing bolt of the dashboard, located under the block just unscrewed. Now you can remove the glove compartment. Next, remove the trim plate located on the windscreen air vents; this plate is held in place by pressure. At this point, you can unscrew the other fixing screws of the dashboard. Now you can take off the switch panel on the driver’s side by applying pressure on the two fixing tabs from inside the dashboard. Now you can remove the other support screw from the open compartment. At this point, you can remove the dashboard.
