Replacing the Thermostat on a Punto

Replace the thermostat if you are sure it is damaged; let's look at the disassembly of the thermostat on a Punto. Remove the engine soundproofing panel, unscrew the bolts on the thermostat housing cap (underneath the vehicle), pull out the sealing cap, and extract the coolant thermostat from its housing after removing the screws. Once the part is removed, replace it with a new one, close the housing with the cap, and tighten the securing bolts properly with all their components. Top up the coolant reservoir with new fluid. Start the vehicle and perform a test to check its operation.
