How to Remove the Gear Shift Gaiter on a Fiat Panda

Model: Fiat Panda 169, MK 2 - Years 2003-2012

Before starting, sit in the driver's seat of your Fiat Panda. Begin by unclipping and removing the gear knob by pulling it firmly upwards, then remove the corresponding spring. Next, unclip the bottom part of the gaiter. This will free the gear shift gaiter. At this point, simply slide the gaiter off the gear lever. Once you have completed this step, you will have successfully finished the disassembly, and you can fit the new gaiter.
